Exchange Research Grant Project

The exchange research grant supports exchange researches of young researchers both in Japan and abroad in the field of industrial technology. Researchers subject to the grant include those foreign young researchers, who are sent from overseas universities or research institutions to Japan and belong to Japanese research institutions such as universities or public research institutions, or those young Japanese researchers, who are sent to overseas universities or public research institutions, or those international students both at home and abroad, who are working on subjects, which are expected to develop into exchange research and collaborative research in the future. The grant subsidizes research expenses of those researchers.

International Exchange Grant Project

We will subsidize overseas travel expenses, participation registration fees of domestic and overseas researchers participating in domestic and overseas symposiums, international research gatherings etc. Activities like research presentations, or lectures in a conference or international collaborative researches are subject to the grant.

Industry-Academic-Government Exchange Grant Project

We will subsidize travel expenses, transportation expenses of domestic and overseas researchers engaged in collaborative research (including studying) for achieving specific research projects or comprehensive technical improvement under the cooperation of industry, academia and government in the country.

Marubun Academic Award

Marubun Research Encouragement Award

We will recognize and honor remarkable researches, or research achievements, which are expected to contribute to the advancement of science and technology and improvement of creative industrial technology that leads to the creation of the next generation of industries, or researchers, who are making remarkable progress in that respect.
